You know how it is when you want to do a post on something and nothing cooperates?
Yep, this is one of those posts..
They say in Hollywood that working with animals is tough.
Try working with wildlife!
There was to be a lack of butterflies on my butterfly bushes.
Except for one...
That is why they call them that, right?
(Not even going to whine about the lack of hummingbirds on them)
A morning dove and friend in the top of the willow tree.
There's always cats to photo. This is the closest these two have been without a hissing fit.
Not too hard to photo...this one poses.
My leeks are blooming and the bees love them!
Uh-oh...maybe this explains the lack of wildlife in my garden...
Pinkerton hiding under the butterfly bush...bad boy!
This week I am linking to:
I love your blooms and butterflies. But I Love your kitties. I have three who spend all their time lounging and chasing things.

Your cats seem funny. Especially the one that posed for you. Cute! Love the shots of the bees on your leeks.
ReplyDeletePinkerton may be bad, but he sure is cute. I love the contrast of the orange butterfly against the purple butterfly bush. A lovely combo for sure. I have had so many of those gian bumbles in my yard this year. More than I ever remember seeing. Maybe it's because we had such a mild winter. You got some great photos of both the bees and butterfly. Thanks for sharing with Share Your Cup.
