Cottage Style Party & A Spring Mantle

The calendar says it is spring, but the weather is still not cooperating.

(yes, it is snowing again…)

So I thought a little spring mantle update was in order!

You could say the theme was birds!

I feed the birds all year long, but in the spring I love waking up to their happy chirps in the morning!

No spring mantle would be complete without sunny daffodils.

I picked up a two-pack of feathery friends at the Dollar Store to tuck in here and there.

More birds on this clock I picked up this weekend along with the robins egg soaps.

Another feathery friend!

Birds and blooms!

How are you welcoming spring?

Hello Friends!

Welcome to this weeks

Cottage Style Party!

#88

So sorry for the late post!
I'm having internet problems…sigh…

All fixed for now so let's get started!

I'm not the only one with a spring mantle update.
I love how Kathy updates her burlap wreath with a tiny birds nest and flowers!

The addition of books and green plants really feels like spring! Drop in the Kathy's blog A Delightsome Life to see more of her spring mantle update!

How sweet is this little birdie roosting on a candlestick?
So cute!

This is just a tiny part of the spring update going on at Maria Elena's cottage on her blog Our Home Away From Home. Stop by for a peek and don't miss her spring dioramas…whoa!

What can I say?
This is just so lovely!

Take it in…that's right…just soak in the beauty…

    1. If it doesn't look like spring outside it can always look like it inside!

    1. I think you are right Magali! It's finally raining. Spring rains are much better than winter snow!

  9. Love your pretty spring mantle! Daffodils are perfect. Trader Joe's (hip grocers) sells little bunches, and I pick up a few to brighten up dark corners whenever they're available.

  10. Love the mantle. Yellow and black and white are always a hit with me. The little birds are the perfect whimsical touch. We are having yucky weather also. Hopefully these March/April snow/rain showers will pay off in beautiful May flowers and dazzling warm summer days. Thank you for hosting. Always a pleasure to join up and to visit.
