Today’s flower bulb of the day is Saffron Fall Crocus. This crocus is prized for its stigmas that flavor paellas and other Mediterranean dishes. You can grow your own and harvest in the fall! The stigmas are the 3 yellow things in the center of the bloom. It blooms in late summer to fall in lucky zones 5-8.
Happy gardening!
Please note: All flowering bulbs this week will need to be planted in the fall for next years blooms!
You know until now I haven't heard of fall Crocus.
