Blooming This Week - Weigelas and More!

After 2 weeks of cool temperatures and drenching rain, there’s a lot blooming in the garden!

Wine & Roses Weigela

Every year I think I should prune this lovely shrub and then I don’t. I think if I prune it, it will fill in more. Then I realize it is filling in slowly by itself…so I leave it alone. It is one of the plants I look forward to blooming every year!

So pretty!

Nora Barlow Columbine

Flower of the Day - Lily-of-the-Valley

Today's flower of the day is Lily-of-the-Valley. These tiny white fragrant bells bloom in mid to late sping. They spread quickly to form a lovely ground cover in shady spots in your garden. Perfect for a shady border in lucky zones 3-9.

Happy gardening!
