Cottage Style Party & An Antique Show

I sold at an antique show last weekend and decided to turn the camera towards other vendors items.


I love this old Hoosier cabinet painted pink and white!
It still has the flour sifter and that jadite bowl looks right at home.

I love this old chippy painted porch swing.
If I just had a porch to hang it on.

This child's toy cabinet has child size dishes too.

I'm not sure if this is a functional pulley or a pulley made into a table?

But I love this little guy on top!
Is it a meerkat?

This step-back chest of drawers is so beautiful!

This vendor also had lots of great primitive pieces.
Look at that huge basket!

This vendor cornered the market on crocks I think!

More crockery!

This vendor had a very pretty girly type of space (note the parasol!)
I love the blue of those painted pieces behind the framed prints.
I asked what color that was and she mentioned Martha Stewart paint.
Of course I don't remember the color any more!

I found all the quilts!

Croquet in a box anyone?

Never tire of seeing butter churns!

Someday I will own one of these old library cabinets!

How cute is this old wicker baby buggy!

Camping supplies anyone?

I haven't seen one of these old lawn jockeys in years!

I am equal parts intrigued and disturbed by this unique lamp.

Let's just hope that the guy who made this kept it in his man cave and did not force his wife to display it in the house….

As you can tell I had a busy weekend at the antiques show.
I still have Rubbermaid containers of items in my living room.

Yep, it sure is glamorous being an antiques dealer!

World's Longest Yard Sale ~ Piles of Finds ~ Part 3

Welcome to World's Longest Yard Sale

the piles of finds!

Yep, I found piles of great stuff!

My truck was loaded down...

Up to the back window which fell forward when I moved the seat.

Some stuff in the bed. 

Not too much as these were unplanned items and the inside was full.

The front seat and floor were full too!

Some of it unloaded and on the back patio waiting to be hosed down of cobwebs and dirt.

Most of the truckload unloaded in my living room on the chair I did not find a replacement for.

But I did find loads of other stuff!

World's Longest Yard Sale Photos

This weekend I went to the World's Longest Yard Sale and had a fabulous time! I chatted with so many nice people and bought loads of great stuff! I covered Route 127 from Fairfield, Ohio to Eaton, Ohio which was a new route for me. Previously I covered northern Kentucky but this year I decided to try something new and it was totally awesome! Here's some photos:

First stop, a farm where I bought some lovely vintage Christmas ornaments.

My nest stop where I met my kindred soul in cozy cottage chic decor!

She had more great things pictured below but by the time I left I think I might have cleaned her out!

Under those tents were some of the prettiest glass ware I have ever seen on the side of the road!

A lovely old farm house set back from the road.

Another lovely old farm house...I was a bit distracted by all the gorgeous old homes!

A gorgeous old home in the town of Eaton, Ohio - love the vivid colors! On to more junkin'...

This park in Hampton, Ohio was a yard sale buyers dream!

More of this park were I bought the prettiest chenille spread and some crochet trim pillow cases!

A wonderful antique store in Seven Mile, Ohio where I met the lovely mayor, who owns this store, where...

...i picked up several nice vintage tablecloths!

Had I not been so distracted by all the great sales I might have remembered to take my camera, duh!
