The busy season has started at Etsy!
Which is to say my favorite time of the year...holiday shopping!
And who doesn't buy a gift from their list along with a gift for themselves?
Yep, that's what I thought!
I am stocking my shop as quickly as I can with
all the wonderful vintage items I found over the summer.
This is a very nice heavy silver-plate tray from Wm Rogers
with wonderful tarnish around the
cutwork rim. Perfect for serving as well as display!
Lovely old feedback quilt in shades of blue.
Makes a nice throw for a bed!
Antique hôtel silver-plate candy dish from the British company William Hutton & Sons.
The chrome lining makes it great for candy as well as a select stash!
I just love these Homer Laughlin restaurant ware coffee mugs.
Tall enough for your morning latte!
Almost a full set of 1940 Genesee silver-plate with a floral pattern and silverware chest.
Perfect for your holiday table!
(Does anyone else wonder what happened to the missing pieces pre garbage disposal days?)
Set of 30 nonbreakable satin ornaments for your holiday tree.
That's nonbreakable, kid-proof, dog-proof, hubby-proof ornaments...yes, please!
Set of 2 antique 1920's blue Ball canning jars with zinc lids.
Attractive and useful storage!
How cute is this white wire basket?
Filled with pink and white ornaments here...
but could you see it in spring lined with moss
and filled with flowers on your patio?
Remember this holiday shopping tip....
One for you and one for them!
Thanks for stopping by!
Please visit these wonderful bloggers and their beautiful blogs

Love the platter and the candy dish.

Wondering if you could help me discover the value of some old Ball jars I have in my stash. Some of them are really old...with sloping or almost nonexistent shoulder...the Ball script is very much older looking...and I have some others that I don't know the names. I probably won't sell them...but I might if it's worth while. Thanks!!
ReplyDeleteHi, I'm Anne from Life on the Funny Farm (http://annesfunnyfarm.blogspot.com) visiting from Tuesday Greens.
ReplyDeleteWhat beautiful "pretties", as my grandmother used to call these kinds of things. My fav't were the coffee mugs.
Anyway, it’s nice to "meet" you. I hope you can pop over to my blog and say hi sometime if you get the chance.
I'm in love with those ball jars, and if I had two pennies to rub together I'd snatch 'em right up. Thank you so much for joining the party!

Great vintage finds! I love to pass great items like these along instead of buying brand new. It's best to use what we have and I love the stories that reside inside of them. Thanks for sharing on Tuesday Greens on www.craftygardenmama.com.
ReplyDeleteI want to go antiquing with you! Thank you for linking up with the Clever Chicks Blog Hop this week, I hope to see you back again next week!
