I think that baskets are an important part of cottage life.
They are useful for trips to the farmers market....
They can store large quantities of stuff like apples...
Or bottles of wine...
They can be seasonally decorated...
Or vintage...
Or be made of wire...
Or had former lives...
They can be decorative...
Or useful...
Or hide a kitty...
Baskets are wonderfully useful and utterly charming in a cottage!

ReplyDeleteBaskets are taking over my house as I can never resist them! They hold magazines, pencils, plants, towels, crafts...any excuse for a basket. Love them!! Sadly, I no longer have a kitty, but he used to love them too. Linda
