Blooming This Week...A Small Lull in the Garden...

Since the weather cooled off a bit, my garden is trying to get

back on its regularly scheduled bloom time.

This means there is a small lull in the flower production.

That's okay, since I see peonies and clematis on the horizon!

A few blooms...

Flower of the Day - Parisian Dawn German Iris

Today's flower of the day is Parisian Dawn German Iris. I must admit, I am not a huge fan of iris, but this one is SO PRETTY(!) that it might just change my mind! This frilly peach flower has a lavender ruffle around the edge. It blooms in mid to late summer in part shade to full sun in lucky zones 4-9.

Happy gardening!
