It's officially fall!
And I've been doing a little fall decorating...
Pumpkins on the porch.
Mums on the porch steps.
Mums tucked in with the lavender.
Mums in front of the house.
Mums in the window box.
Mums in the window boxes of the living room windows.
I can see these from inside the house...nice!
I moved this basket outside for photos.
Mums and ornamental peppers in fall colors.
Not in autumn colors, but I found this double coneflower and couldn't resist!
Double delight in pink...my first double coneflower!
What fall decorating are you doing?
Hello Friends!
Welcome to this weeks
Cottage Style Party!
#63
Thank you for all your kind words and wishes
about my plumbing problems!
The most important part, the toilet is fixed
and if all goes well on Wednesday
the washer will be delivered.
Here's hoping that the relay of phone calls
necessary to get the washer
delivered are seamless...
...because I am out of underwear!
While it was a busy family weekend,
I did fit in a little fall decorating on Sunday.
My interior fall decorating is still
a work in progress so that will have to wait.
What kind of fall decorating are you doing?
Let's see, shall we?
This fall mantle is so lovely!
Everything is perfect, from the pumpkins in the basket to the candles to the leaves tucked in just so.
Drop in to Maria Elena's blog Our Home Away From Home to
see details of this beautiful autumn mantle!
How cute is this cabinet?
I love all the cubbies filled with jadeite and the
scalloped trim!
Kathy has been working hard redoing her kitchen.
Stop by her blog A Delightsome Life to drool over all the details!
This is such a fabulous way to use a thrifted
silver plate tray.
Turn it into fall wreath!
I love that it has handles which make it easy to attach
your decorations and to hang it!
Go see the before tray and decorated details at
Nita's blog Mod Vintage Life.

Your plants are looking lovely so bright and cheerful this time of year.
ReplyDeleteThanks for inviting me to your party!
I love all your beautiful mums! I think they are such happy flowers and they pair up so well with pumpkins, and now I see they look wonderful with colorful peppers and lavender plants too! I've got a couple of potted mums on my front porch and a couple blooming in my backyard flower garden. I'm inspired to do more now!
ReplyDeleteLove your fall porch! Thanks for hosting :)

I love Kathy's kitchen! Sorry for showing up so late... I've had a busy week.
ReplyDeleteGlad the plumbing is fixed and praying the washer comes without delay! Meanwhile, your porch is lovely! Love your lavender as well. I have tried so many times unsuccessfully to grow lavender! :( Yours looks so healthy.
