This is how I like to do Cottage Style.
A mishmash of the things I love right now!
I grew tired of what used to be in my living room and
started dragging it out to the back porch to get rid of it.
I needed a clock that worked and could fill a large blank wall.
I bought this from work for a discount.
$60
I think this lamp was originally from Target awhile back.
I found this one at the Goodwill 2 years ago and
the lampshade 2 months ago.
Lamp: $5 Shade: $2
I hated my big overstuffed faux leather lounge chair
and so did the cats.
So I dragged that chair to the curb for trash pickup and didn't look back.
Though I did notice that no one else wanted it either.
I found this one at the flea market with filthy covers.
Popped them in the washer and I love it now!
And its cat-proof!
$25
I bought this at the same flea market as the chair.
I love its rustic character!
Haven't decided what to put in it though.
$20
The screen I bought in Seattle years ago: $20.
It has been many colors thru the years!
Currently Ralph Lauren gold.
The behind-the-sofa shelf I bought at a thrift store in Sonoma: $45
The print was from the Goodwill: $3
The assorted other smalls are from thrift stores, flea markets and yard sales,
collected over the years.
My idea of Cottage Style is things I love collected over time!
What is your idea of Cottage Style!
Welcome to this weeks
Cottage Style Party!
So many creative partiers last week!
And all I did was rearrange my living room.
Well, and clean, but that's not creative...
...at least not the way I do it!
Let's just jump right in and get started.
I am just a sucker for pretty flowers in the garden.
I love the coral-y orange color of these Gerber daisies!
Drop by Copper Diem's blog for more lovely photos of her garden!
This is such a pretty table setting!
I love all the crisp white with the amber glasses and
the pop of color in the middle of the table!
That's not all...wait until you see the chandelier bling hanging from the ceiling!
Go ahead...drop in to Fabby's dinner party at her blog Fabby's Living!
Now how cute are these stacked pots?
This is such a great idea for plants or to make into a fountain.
Stop by to see Lois at her blog Cabin of Bows
to see all the details to make your own!
Don't forget to pickup your button on the side!

You can't be late with a clock like that! I can see that basket with a huugge plant in it. Goes to show you don't have to spend a lot to achieve a great look.
ReplyDeleteI'm new to the party so I hope what I linked up is okay.
