Cottage Style Party #29

I have the winter doldrums.

It's not a disease but it is certainly an affliction.

This is the view out my window...

...very pretty but not what I would like to see.

In my head, my backyard should always look like this...

....comfy and welcoming, full of flowers but mostly warm!

A girl can wish for spring color....

Or a cozy place to sit....

But in the end I will have to wait for nature to catch up to my state of mind...

What do you do to get past the winter doldrums?

Welcome to this weeks

Cottage Style Party!

So much wonderful cottage style this week

makes it too hard to choose!

I love this cottage kitchen from the white cabinets to the

marble counter tops to the pale blue kitchen island...whew!

Stop by Magali's blog The Little White House on the Seaside to more lovely blue kitchens

and her fisherman's cottage in Brittany, France!

I just love a gorgeous tablescape and this winter themed one caught my eye!

I love all the natural elements and that little bird is adorable!

Stop by The Home Girls blog to see more details of her winter-y table

and the wonderful wire cloches!

How yummy does this brioche look! Yum!

And I love this table set for coffee and brioche with a pitcher of lavender too!

Visit Kathy at A Delightsome Life for more wonderful

pictures of her delicious brioche and her cottage!

  1. Your winter doldrums make me ashamed of the 76 degree weather we had here in MS today. But to get myself out of it, I try hot soup, curling up under a blanket with a good book, and some indoor exercise if my arthritis allows it that day.

  9. Thanks for having me over for the party. I get to see lots of ideas and I don't have to worry about over eating like I just might at the Super Bowl party today.
