I have the winter doldrums.
It's not a disease but it is certainly an affliction.
This is the view out my window...
...very pretty but not what I would like to see.
In my head, my backyard should always look like this...
....comfy and welcoming, full of flowers but mostly warm!
A girl can wish for spring color....
Or a cozy place to sit....
But in the end I will have to wait for nature to catch up to my state of mind...
What do you do to get past the winter doldrums?

Your winter doldrums make me ashamed of the 76 degree weather we had here in MS today. But to get myself out of it, I try hot soup, curling up under a blanket with a good book, and some indoor exercise if my arthritis allows it that day.
