Blooming This Week ~ Peonies!

It's peony week here at the cottage. 

The peonies are just starting to bloom! 


Its been a long year waiting for this moment...

  1. Beautiful--I love peonies. Mine are full of buds but not blooming yet. Where we used to live in Eastern Washington, the peonies were really nice, and grew very large, much larger than they do in my current garden in Western Washington. I think they tended to thrive in the colder winter/hot summer environment, but not sure about that.

  6. LOVE your peonies! My peonies are just starting to bloom here in the upper corner of the Pacific Northwest. Peonies and lilacs are two of my all time favorites... just love this time of year!

  8. Everything looks beautiful, I have only one peony bush that was here when we bought the house. It has already bloomed but was very shot lived this year. I only got one bouquet to enjoy this year. Thanks for stopping by Nanniepannie.
