Are your Spring Bulbs are Coming up in the Snow?

Do your spring flower bulbs look like this:

Taken at 7am this morning in my front flower bed

Taken last spring

Don’t Panic!

Its okay.

Those warm days in January tricked spring blooming bulbs into thinking it was time to come up.

And, whew, that’s okay.

These bulbs are used to being outside in the cold and are unaffected by late winter snow and ice.

They will shake it off and still bloom this spring!

  1. Thanks I needed that! Even with many years of experience I have not had my daffs up so early. I was use to them in Ireland in Feb . but not in my Michigan environment. Garlic is up and growing steady everyday too.
