What's Blooming in the Garden - Mid-August

Here it is mid-August already and soon enough it will be fall. Hints of it are already popping up in the garden. Let’s take a peek…



Resurrection Lily, Magic lily or Naked lily...take your pick...are blooming right on schedule.


A lavender colored Rose of Sharon slowly unfolds.




Lovely white Balloon flowers.



Sunflowers from the "herb" garden.



Mixed basils sunning on the patio.



From the "blue garden", a butterfly bush peeks over the bench.

I love it when a plan comes together!

    My Magic Lilies haven't bloomed yet. Think the heat must have did them in for the year. Everything looks lovely.
