I was on my way to work last week and slammed on the brakes when I saw this vintage lounger by the curb on trash day.
I've been looking for a cheap one for a long time and had missed out on one at the Goodwill last year.
I never thought I would find a free one at the curb!
I never thought I would find a free one at the curb!
I decided to paint it to match my table and chairs in French Lilac.
I loved it in black but it looks so good in French Lilac!
The floral detail really pops now!
This pillow is a nice finishing touch…no cushion needed as it is comfy just like this.
I am the Queen of Hoarded Fabric and pulled this out of my stash to make a pillow cover.
It looks so great next to my curbside find cottage fencing and $5 birdbath!
Just $12 worth of spray paint I had on hand brings out its true potential!
I can't wait to take a nap in it!
Hello Friends!
Welcome to this weeks
Cottage Style Party
#111
Here we go…another week of me messing things up and apologizing!
I am so sorry about the lack of a party link up from last week.
I'm not sure what happened?
It was there when I did my last review and then *poof* gone.
This week I noticed it disappeared again
so I added a new one only to find out there were 2 listed in the preview.
Perhaps it is not me!
Then again…!
Let's get this party started and if the link up is not there please let me know!
This is such a lovely centerpiece of sunflowers for JoAnn's luncheon.
I love the pops of purple liatris in this bouquet!
Pop over to JoAnn's blog Scene Through My Eyes to see her lovely MacBeth Evans dishes in pretty pastels.
Don't miss her adorable set of roly poly glasses in a caddy!
A cup of tea in the sand at the beach?
Why, yes!
This wonderful vintage find has a seagull and beach motif making it perfect for the beach!
Stop by and visit Shawn's blog Poetry in a Pot of Tea to see the details of this seaside seagull tea cup!
I am in love with this collection of transferware!
So pretty displayed on the wall of Cecelia's home.
Some of these dishes cost as little as 25 cents!
Hop on over to Cecelia's blog My Thrift Store Addiction to see the details of her thrifted collection!

Oh how I love the curbside lounge. We aren't allowed to put large items on the curb here - which is a shame. Now and then someone will set something out with a free sign on it - but it is usually junk so we pass by. The color is perfect - and so is your curbside fence and the 5.00 birdbath - what lucky finds - and so relaxing looking.
ReplyDeleteThanks for mentioning my blog - I am honored.
Hi Deb! Okay, Texas has awesome thrift stores but y'all must have the best curbside---LOVE that chaise, especially with the lavender paint! Thanks so much for featuring my thrifty Transferware collection!
ReplyDeleteBlessings, Cecilia
