Cottage Style Party & A Summer Front Porch

A summer porch should make you want to sit down and relax.

It should have a nice view up the walk way to the porch.

These hot pink flowers provide a bit of color until the lavender grows back.

This hydrangea has just one large flower on it so far and is still recovering from winter.

A mixed pot and a camellia greet you first.

A hanging basket for you to hit your head on.

Some pretty hanging baskets under the awning.

A welcoming place to sit and have a refreshing drink.

Or sit with a friend on the rocking bench.

Enjoy the pretty pink potted flowers…performing all day, all summer long.

Enjoy the view or create one.

Take a load off, smell the flowers and enjoy a lovely summer day.

How's your summer porch look?

Hello Friends!

Welcome to this weeks

Cottage Style Party

Let's give away that cute strawberry apron first thing!

The apron goes to lucky # 6

Lucky #6 is Jann Olson from Have a Daily Cup of Mrs Olson blog!

Thanks to everyone for entering and thanks to Jann for her lovely comment about the Strawberry Days Festival in her home town.

I'm sending that cute apron to you Jann!

Let's see what everyone has been up to this week!

With the 4th of July coming up, this flag is perfect for celebrating the holiday!
How cute is it?

Michelle made this with a antique tray and some fabric scraps! Stop by her blog So Sweet Vintage to see all the details.

I love this whimsical table setting that works for summer as well as the 4th of July!

Drop by Cecilia's blog My Thrift Store Addiction to read about the details - like those adorable doily chargers and that sweet fruity tablecloth!

If you are looking for a spectacular dessert for your holiday picnic table, then Penny's dessert is what you are looking for!

Penny says this gorgeous dessert is *easy* so visit her blog for all the details at Penny Wise.
And impress your friends and family this 4th!
