I'm so glad that the Dollar Store has moved into my neighborhood.
It especially comes in handy for thrifty holiday fun.
I decided I wanted to make a Valentine's Day display.
But my budget was tiny…less than $5.
So I went to the Dollar Store, where else?
This is my thrifty $4 display with candle light!
Kind of fun, right?
Her'e how it breaks down:
A glass ginger jar vase.
$1
A small red pillar candle, apple cinnamon scent.
$1
About half a bag of clear glass stones.
$1
Glitter heart stickers, just the red ones.
$1
Romantic hearts abound!
Total $4
Easy, fun and cheap!
That is me!
Heh.
Have you made any fun dollar store items lately?
Hello Friends!
Welcome to this weeks
Cottage Style Party!
#82
If it's February, it must be snowing…again!
No signs of spring here yet, just snow storm after snow storm.
Thankfully we have indoor pursuits such as crafts, cooking and rearranging our cottages!
How are you dealing with this long winter?
Let's see...
Brooke has been rearranging her kitchen and I love these galvanized watering cans on this green shelf!
Drop into to her blog Creative Country Mom to see more of her kitchen update. Don't miss her creative plant holders!
How sweet is this display? I love the chalkboard, lavender and the enamelware!
Join Abby at Abby's Way for her photo tour of French Vanilla, a charming bit of eye candy in Victoria, BC. Don't miss it!
Fabby is celebrating the Year of the Horse with her wonderful Chinese New Year tablescape!
I love this cheerful table setting which was curated over many years and looks so pretty together! Stop in to Fabby's blog Fabby's Living to see the details.
If you were featured, don't
