One of the things I love about a cottage
is the little nooks.
Little nooks, not Nook.
Like this one on the end of old built in cabinets in my kitchen.
It was narrow, only 5" wide, and
I just didn't know what to do with it.
So I left it empty until I found this collection
of vintage cheese crocks.
To find them all together they must have been
someone else's collection before they became mine.
Over time I found other little things to tuck in
beside the crocks such as these charming
French chef salt and pepper shakers
and the pie bird above.
Being next to the only closet and bathroom,
I pass by this several times a day.
It makes me smile!
And yet another collection was born...

ReplyDeleteI love your collection of cheese crocks. Perfect for your little nook! I love Friendly Village. Only have one cute pitcher that I found at a thrift shop. Had not heard of it before then. Just bought it because I thought it was cute. Right after I saw it all over blogland. Thanks for hosting.
ReplyDeletehugs,
Jann
I really like those little cheese containers, how cute. Wish they still sold them like that. It's great to have a collection that has already been put together, instant gratification (or is that just me lol)
ReplyDeleteI really like your little nooks! Your crocks look great there and I love the little pie bird! My daughter has some little nooks on cabinets by her sink and does some cute things with hers too!. I just signed up to follow your lovely blog and I also joined your fun party today! Goodness - so many neat things. Great shelf, collection and additions. I think it's neat that you recognize the potential previous owner of those crocks. Kind of like a treasure in itself, isn't it?
ReplyDeleteEnjoyed my visit - via Liz's TTT.
Thanks! Jenn
The cheese crocks are perfect for that spot - wonderful features - I do appreciate you hosting,
ReplyDeleteKathy
I especially love the speckled crocks. A bit of cheese on some crackers would be perfect with a steaming cup of tea.
ReplyDeleteAppreciate the time you dedicate to hosting this party!
