Today's flower of the day is Vanilla Spice Summersweet. This flowering shrub has lovely sweet and spicy vanilla scented spires of white flowers similar to a butterfly bush. It blooms best in full sun to part shade from July to fall for lucky zones 3-9.

ReplyDeleteI had one many years ago which was accidently mowed down and never recovered. I'm going to look online to see what height it grows.
I love plants, but this summer has been so hot and dry that ours are suffering.
