Today's flower of the day is Blueberry Cobbler Butterfly Bush. Both butterflies and hummingbirds will delight in this butterfly bush! This multi-colored butterfly bush starts with blue flowers that fade to orange. This bush flowers from early spring to late summer in full sun for lucky zones 5-9.
Happy gardening!
Butterfly bushes are lovely and I really love the bloom on this one, but they tend to die back to the ground in this area so I don't put them in here but always enjoy the photos of others that have them.

It looks so vibrant with its mixed hues but I never knew the butterfly bush attract humming birds as well... I have these bee balm plants(Monarda)in my perennial border and the humming birds love it. I am going to look for this butterfly bush to plant now..Thanks for following me and have a nice day!~Your new follower,Poppy.

Pretty butterfly bush. I have been growing them with success in my zone 4 garden.
ReplyDeleteI've never seen this variety before - it is stunning. I only have one large bush and the others are dwarf varieties. Unfortunately the resident bunny nibbled one last month and it's going to be blooming at about a foot tall instead of four. Oh well, it will be a conversation piece.
