Today's flower of the day is the Black Hollyhock. This heirloom hollyhock is actually a deep, almost black, maroon. A statuesque beauty, it reaches a height of 5-8', making it best suited for the back of your garden. It blooms best in full sun in late summer for lucky zones 3-9.
