It's Coneflower Week here at the cottage and today's coneflower is Mount Hood Coneflower. This spectacular double-decker coneflower has a profusion of dazzling petals coming from the top of the cone as well as the bottom. Bees and butterflies love this perennial which blooms mid to late summer in full sun to part shade for lucky zones 3-9.
