Cottage Style Party #51

I've become scale obsessed!

It all started with this scale I found years ago

at a flea market on the west coast.

It spent a brief amount of time decorating my kitchen

before landing in my office as a working scale.

I use it for weighing my Etsy packages for shipping.

Then I found this one which is the same scale but with a bright red top!

Same art deco lines but in a little better shape.

This one is living a life of leisure decorating my kitchen.

I found this one at the flea market this spring.

I believe it is a food scale which is why it is in the living room.

Ha!

Not a lot of display space in my kitchen and it looks great in the living room.

I also like the pop of orange on top.

At the same flea market I also found this old rustic scale.

I did some rearranging magic in my kitchen to squeeze it in.

The old Ball jars make the blue face stand out.

I just love its crusty character and patina!

What are you obsessing with these days?

Welcome to this weeks

Cottage Style Party!

4th of July edition!

How is everyone this week?

I am on stay-cation this week

and am getting things done!

The weather is warm, not hot, and

in between the rain drops I'm even getting some pool time.

All in all a pretty good vacation!

Let's start this off with a little Fourth of July inspiration!

How much fun is this patriotic table design?

It's stars and stripes 4th of July festive and those plates are just so cute!

Stop by Creatively Sam's blog to see how this all came together

including her hubby's contribution!

(now that's a good husband!)

I just love everything about this garden party!

So pretty! So romantic!

To see all the up close details of this lovely garden party, stop in to Karen's Cottage and Castle!

Is that a chandelier I see hanging from the tree?

Yum!

I adore this outdoor fireplace!

This is a made-from-scratch-and-scrap fireplace made by Penny and her hubby.

(lots of helpful hubbies out there this week!)

The entire setting is just gorgeous!

For details on how it all came together, stop by Penny's Vintage Home.

Loads of pictures..make sure you go all the way to the bottom

to see how pretty this deck and fireplace are under candle light!
