My thoughts have turned to gardening.
There have been hints of this...
...to get me excited to plant.
And moments of this...
that make me shiver!
Then a few days later...
quickly followed with more of this...
The snowy view outside my (work) office window last week.
This is the time of year when the weather is a big tease!
Which makes my thoughts turn to gardening even more!
Anyone else?
Thanks for stopping by!

I know exactly what you mean with the snow and then a taster of spring. Today was wonderful and I sat outside (with a jacket!) and had tea! Then some gardening. We're getting closer to spring!! Take care. Chel

Yes...we are definitely being teased. No spring bulbs coming up here yet, but our temps were up to 50 degrees! Yay! Too bad they are going back down tomorrow!! I guess we have to hang in there! :)

The first crocus are out in my garden as well... But we don't have snow. Temps are frezzing every night though. A gardener is helping me shaping a part of the garden into a veggie garden... Given the temperatures I won't be planting anything in it for a few more weeks!
ReplyDeleteHmmm...you must live in Eastern Oregon then, eh? Ha! I'm hosting my Homemaking Linkup Weekend and would love to have you join, if you haven't already!
ReplyDeleteI want to force a forsythia branch or something indoors : ) My mom always did that with forsythia and pussy willow / trouble is I have neither bush !
ReplyDeleteI would like to garden, but I really need to learn all over for where I live. I know how to do a regular ornamental garden for around here, but I would like to grow food and it is done differently due to the heat.
ReplyDeleteYep...Spring is right around the corner and already present in some parts of the country. I fondly await the sighting of my first daffodils each year. We are still in winter here in the high desert of Central Oregon. We're at 3600 ft. above sea level and the nights are quite cold.
ReplyDeleteNow that I have seen your sunny yellow beauties I feel better! Thanks for sharing.
Smiles,
Carolynn xoxo
